WELCOME TO THE WELL
The church is the gathering of God’s people.
Over 2000 years ago, when Jesus Christ had risen from the dead he gathered his friends together and told them that they were to be his representatives – telling everyone they knew about His life, death and resurrection and then forming communities of Jesus-followers all over the world.
These communities were, and still are, the church.
It is in these communities we gather to learn and grow in what it means to love and follow Jesus. It is in these communities where we discover God’s purposes and plans in our lives. It is where we learn how to help others encounter the life-changing work of Jesus.
The church is about community, and our lives as Christians are meant to primarily be understood in that light.
This means that we serve each other, help each other grow in our grasp of Christ’s love, and work together to see our community and the world transformed by that same Christian love. We long for The Well be a place where we are continually deepening our faith and love in Jesus while widening our embrace of all people – just as Jesus did.
We pray that you would be able to discover how God has made you to be a unique and integrated member of the church at The Well.
Visiting our church for the first time? Want to know what to expect? See below for frequently asked questions.
The Well is a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Canada. We are “christian” because we believe and follow Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. We are “missionary” because we are committed to reaching people with the good news of Jesus Christ. To find out more, click here.

It’s always a good idea to try and arrive a few minutes before the service to grab a complimentary coffee and a good seat. Also, if you are bringing your children and they are interested in going into our Kids program designed especially for them, you’ll want to have time to registered and settled.
Our services usually run for 1 hour and 15 minutes. After each service we have a “30-minute Party” – a great place to connect with other people and have coffee and homemade goodies.
The advantage to meeting in a movie theatre and a community centre? Tons of parking! Take your pick in the massive parking lot.
Come directly to the Cineplex front doors and come on in! There will be WE Team members inside to direct you to the kid’s classes and the Theatre where the services are held.
Enter through the main doors towards the library and follow our signs upstairs to our meeting space. There is an elevator available as well – we’ve got you covered.
When you enter the Cineplex Vaughan Theatreas you’ll be welcomed by some of our WE Team members and be directed to the Kids Registration table. There you will be able to sign your kids into their age-appropriate program and directed to their classroom.
School-age children (K – GraSde 5) meet in Theatre #17. Nursery meets in the Party Room outside of Theatre 3, and the Preschoolers meet in Theatre #15.
When you enter the Community Centre you’ll be welcomed by some of our WE Team members and be directed to the Kids Registration table. There you will be able to sign your kids into their age-appropriate program and directed to their classroom.
School-age children (SK – Gr. 5) meet in Room A. Nursery and Preschoolers meet in Room D.
Join the club! There are tons of babies and kids at The Well, so you’ll feel right at home. We have a wonderfully fun and safe nursery play area that you can play with your baby in, but they are also more than welcome to stay with you in the service.
If you choose to put them into our program rest assured we’ll text you should the caregivers need you at any point during the service.
Not at all! Come as you are…we really want for people to feel comfortable when they come to worship. People come in anything from jeans to business casual.
We have 3 great worship teams that lead the congregation each week. Our worship is current, led by a band and focused on God.
Not if you don’t feel comfortable. The words to each song are provided on the movie screen at the front to make it easier to follow along. It’s completely up to you.
The Well has a team of 2 teaching Pastors. Most Sundays either Vijay Krishnan or David Lombardo teaches the congregation, but from time to time there will be guest speakers.
