Hope in the Neighbourhood
Hope is revealed (seen) through the church
What kind of people are we? Do we look like love and hope and safety? Or do we look like critics, judges, an exclusive club?
Lampstand – Shed light, give light, be light
Churches are referred to as Lampstands which light up a room, street, community
Light contrasted with darkness
How can we bring light and hope into our relationship? Neighbourhoods? Workplaces?
We don’t have to become a lightstand, we are a lightstand already. Jesus is shining through us.
This message will look at ways we can intentionally connect with those around us in a way that brings the hope of Jesus to others.
