Love is Greater than Anger
1 Cor 13:4-5a, James 1:19-20 This message explores the issue of anger; love is not easily angered (or love is slow to anger). Love means we don’t go there easily. If we go there easily, it probably means there are unexplored emotions, unexplored hurts (because anger is a “safer” emotion to display than hurt, shame or fear). We need to explore what’s under our anger if we are ever going to be slow to go to it. James also gives us something we can do relationally to curb our anger (be quick to listen and slow to speak).
