Love is Greater than Pride
This message kicks off the series on love. It explores the contrast Paul makes with doing great things and appearing great, but that without love, it’s nothing. The context was people arguing over (and comparing) spiritual gifting, but he also includes virtue (giving my body to the flames); and we could even include the greatness associated with accomplishment in general (YouTube successes, fame, etc.). Paul argues that without love, your words, your actions and your life are worthless – or worse they are distracting and destructive.
